About Us!

Cruisin' the Hill for School Supplies is an event hosted by The City of Holly Hill to collect school supplies for the needy school children of Volusia County. There will be a Car Show, Food, Drink, Music and Fun for ALL! Come out and show your support for your community and have a great time! This your chance to see and show off your best Classics, Street Rods, Foreign, Pace Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Boats, Planes, Locomotives, Anything & Everything else. When: October 31st, 2021 Time: 10 AM to 2 PM Where: Holly Hill City Hall Help Support Your Local Schools: Even if you are not showing a vehicle at the show, we would love for you to bring school supplies to support the local schools. Anything helps! Other Happenings at the Event: UBIC School will be performing the National Anthem Racing Roundtable and Autograph Session: MCed by Buzz McKim, Racing Historian Autographs of George Levy, Skip McCarthy, Olan Hope, John Craft, the Hollingsworth Family, Preston Pardus, and many others. 50/50 Raffle – Purchase a raffle ticket at the event and the winner receives 50% of the proceeds from the event and the schools receive the other 50%! Food: Supplied by Fraze’s Scratch Cookin’ Good Humor Ice Cream Truck A Lemonade Stand providing fresh-squeezed lemonade Entertainment: Provided by DJ Vito Vehicle Registration: To show your vehicle, all you have to do is bring in new, unused school supplies and check in with registration located directly in front of the main entrance to the Holly Hill City Hall building. The registration desk will be staffed by Teachers of Community Schools. Trophies: Best of Show: Selected by Chassis Crafters and awarded to the most outstanding vehicle of the show. Club Participation: Club with the most Attendees that show registered to show vehicles. Police Chief Pick: The Holly Hill Police Chief (Steve Aldridge) will pick his favorite of the show and award this trophy. Mayor’s Pick: The Holly Hill Mayor, Chris Via, will pick his favorite of the show and award this trophy. Flathead Award: The Glenn McGlone Family will select the best flathead powered vehicle.
